It has been proven that developing children learn a lot through play and other fun activities. When a child is still in his infant or toddler years, he will prefer to play on his own, with his preferences moving quickly from one activity to another. During this time, it is best to allow the child to play in an open space with a wide variety of toys. By the time the child reaches his preschool years, his attention span generally increases allowing him to focus on a single activity for a longer period of time. This is also the time when he realizes that it is fun to play with the other kids of his age, thus reducing his own free play to that of a structured group play. Preschool Learning Toys are designed to aid children develop specific skills while they play. The correct setup of play activities as well as the toys found in these centers is important to enable interactivity between preschoolers. There are four basic types of play activities that should be included in these learning centers. These are manipulative play, dramatic play, literacy play, and construction play. The first type of play activity is necessary for the development and fine tuning of motor skills, most specifically hand and eye coordination. Manipulative play activities should include toys which encourage the use of the finger and wrist muscles. Toys like math counters, matching cards, and lacing strings are some of the toys that should be found in this play area. On the other hand, dramatic play should encourage the children to take on role-playing by pretending to be someone else. Toys found in this area should allow children to play creatively. The toys that are right for this play area include dress-up clothes and props so that the children can take on a different role each time they play here. Tents, puppets, and dollhouses are other toys that can further dramatic play. Preschool Learning Toys should also have a place for literacy play. This is the corner where the books are located to develop early reading skills. It should be located in a quite spot separate from the other play areas. Pillows can be provided in this area for comfort. Aside from books, other games that are commonly placed here are phonics games and magnetic letter boards. Another play area that is commonly found in a learning center is an open floor space that is allotted for construction play. This area should be provided with blocks of all shapes and sizes since this is the area where children are given the chance to create models of anything they have interest on. Cars, trucks, people, and animal figures can also be placed in this area. Apart from the four basic play areas found in these learning centers, there are other types of play areas which can be included in a learning center’s set up such as sand, science, art, and water centers. Because these are largely optional recreational activities, toys related to these centers can be brought out on certain occasions only.

Electronic learning games have always been a great way for parents and grandparents, who prefer their gifts have some obvious long-term benefits, to buy the children in their life electronic products to entertain and engage them. It is easy to buy presents that are immediately interesting and provide a welcome distraction and electronic games certainly fulfil that role. But, rather than offering straight forward entertainment for toddlers and young children, who are in the prime learning years of their lives, take advantage of their natural enthusiasm to learn by offering a gift that is both engaging and educational at the same time. Educational toys for children offer a compromise for parents who want their children to be technologically savy but without the potential for pure mind-numbing escapism and distraction. Electronic learning games such as the Leapster or Tag Reader are designed to be highly entertaining but are also dedicated to making sure they have a significant educational component as well. By applying simple game structures to essential learning principles these educational devices can impart knowledge with no overt “education”, just play. Playing has always been a way to teach younger children essential life skills and basic literacy and numeracy ideas. Many children’s games teach a variety of specific skills without being explicit about it. Think of hopscotch for example, how many things does a child pick up when they learn to play and repeatedly play this game of hopping on numbered squares? Alot! Board games take this play learning to another level and give it more structure. Monopoly and Scrabble are two of the most obvious examples of games where children have fun learning about reading and maths without realising they are being educated while they play. Interactive educational toys take this concept top the next level by engaging kids with sounds and moving images and asking them to respond to specific commands. Kids love interactive toys, so make sure you offer them one with long-term benefits.

With your new-born, you are always extra protective and want to shower all that is under your reach-financially and intelligently. In case of toddlers, only parents can decide as to which toy will suit the best. In fact there are so many toys in the market that it’s difficult to choose the best for your kid. Moreover, all the range is not available, at hand, in the market. Pictures puzzle intrigues and interests toddlers the most. Start with few-big-pieces puzzle and make your child sit along with you. Don’t ask him or her to play the game. Just follow the steps to solve the picture puzzle, yourself and let your child watch these steps to repeat them intelligently himself. You yourself will be amazed of the grasping power of your child. Help to reach his goal and clap when it’s done. This will certainly woo him to do it again. It is always very time consuming to teach the kids about the animals and their kids. But learning toys like Funskool has an educational tool which has compiled all the animals and their kids into a fun-learning process. Similar educational-games include joining Hindi and English alphabets and their matching pictures together. Learn Math the easy way. Few companies make the kids learn Math through counting, matching and taking turns. Bloch-building is one such game which consists of big blocks of different shapes, color, size and figures. These blocks enhance the constructive activity of kids and make them learn as to how to manage toys. Online shopping gives you the leverage of proper study of all the best available learning toys, in the comfort of your home and decides according to its description and usage for your child. In case of confusions, search; brand wise and shortlist few of them. Choose the best for your young-one by relooking at that list. A wide range of leading brands market their product of learning toys, online. These brands include Fisher Price, Funskool, Mitashi, Casio, etc which specialize in educational toys. Please visit online shopping portal and purchase kid’s toys as u wish.

The experts all agree that children learn by exploring the world around them and one way that they do this is through the creativeness of play. If you’ve watched any young children at play then you’ll know that they don’t necessarily need childrens toys to interact with to learn. The most obscure object can become a source of entertainment and amusement. However, childrens toys act as stimulants encouraging your child to discover and develop new skills and have new experiences. It makes sense then to focus on toys that help your child learn in a constructive way. But how do you decide which children’s educational toys are best for your child?

The kind of stimulating educational toys that your little one will respond to best are those that allow him or her to discover and encourage their own personal learning style. Some children like to concentrate on one activity and explore all they can around that while others like to have a wide variety of choices so that they can easily move from one to another. For example, a child that likes to concentrate for long periods will probably enjoy a complicated puzzle (appropriate to their age) but a child who gets distracted easily would probably learn more with a range of simpler puzzles that get increasingly difficult.

Have you ever stopped to think about how you like to learn? Each of us has a favorite way of discovering new things. If you take a book of fiction for example, you would find that some people prefer audio books because they can more easily take in information aurally, while others need to have a book in their hands to be able to assimilate the words. Others would rather watch a play or movie of the book than read it. And others would prefer to plot out what happened in a logical way through a mind map or linear drawing rather than trudge through the detail of what occurred. While children are still developing, their educational styles change depending on their skill level, however, most have a preference for a particular way of learning.

If you can’t quite work out whether your child responds best to visual, aural, touch or logical styles of education then the best thing to do is take time to observe how they interact with the learning toys around them. Do you have to ask them repeatedly to do things or do they pick it up faster if you write it down or if you show them first exactly what to do? Or perhaps they need to know what will happen if they don’t do something before they will do it?

Once you understand what they like you can introduce a few learning toys that are focussed on that particular mode of learning. And then see how they react. Do they embrace it? Do they struggle? Once you have tested a few different childrens learning toys you will then have a much better idea of what works for your child and what doesn’t. The next step is to hunt out the kind of educational toys your child has shown a preference for. However, it is important to bear in mind that your child’s educational style is not locked in and may alter as their skills develop and their interests change.

Children learn best while they are playing. Learning is the best aided with educational and learning toys. Most of the kids do not like to study. Therefore, the best option is to give them learning toys with which they can not only play but also learn from. A child can learn playfully to write letters, numeric and color the cartoons on the computer. By loading the fun game in the computer, the kids can also learn how to use the computer with keyboard and printer, which come, along with the play station.

Several learning toys and games teach kids how to use their brain for the constructive Work. like Lego treasure hunt, Shark hunt construction set, TajMahal, doll set, wooden chess, mind space, Phantom, paintballs, fire station, fighter plane model kit, cry how to do things and organize back, learning board, my tutor, logical balls and many more. If he is interested in pirate games, dinosaur activities, electronic playground or marble run construction, then it will inspire his creativity, thoughts and imagination. The power of magnet to attract and repel will not only amuse the kid but also endow him with a new light of knowledge.

This way they learn while they play. A puzzle box with different shapes develops the child’s learning ability and the ability to solve problems. Shape sorters teach them how to match similar items and the names of the shapes. Lego blocks provide an opportunity to learn more about colors and symmetry. Giving educational toys to the children will help them to develop a positive attitude toward learning. Toys also teach the child to socialize. For example, he can create a building through the set of building blocks. .

ctivities like this will teach the child to become a leader, a follower and a team player. Educational toys not only help the child to develop his abilities and skills but also teach the child to be responsible. Organizing his toys after playing with them is one of the best ways to teach a child to be responsible. In addition, educational learning toys teach your child simple but valuable things.
